She is known for her lush singing of American standards and her genuine love for music and people, and in her two most recent albums, she explores the musical legacies of important singer-songwriters. First came After Blue, the artful reimagining of Joni Mitchell’s iconic Blue recording. Last year’s The Sting Variations, which brilliantly transforms highly creative meditations on the songs of Sting and the Police, was nominated for “Best Jazz Vocal Album” during the 2017 Grammy®-Awards. That album will be the focus of her Norton Center performance debut. Expect to hear pop classics such as “Message in a Bottle,” “Driven to Tears,” “Walking in Your Footsteps,” “Fragile,” and “Every Breath You Take,” among many other hits and surprises.

Her remarkable voice has transcended stylistic boundaries headlining the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.
